Over the years, I’ve seen a number of gimmicky products and fad weight loss programs come and go. Those awkward ab machines that exercise the same muscles in the same way again and again? Or those expensive diet plans composed only of shakes and powders that leave a sour taste in your mouth? In the end, none of these things have any kind of permanent impact.

Cutting down on carbs is one of the fastest routes to weight loss success. Combine this with whole food options, and you’re totally going to enhance your body’s ability to burn fat at a faster rate.
So the ideal fat-burning diet? I say go with the paleo diet. This one has been gaining in popularity lately, and while you may think it sounds gimmicky, it’s not. 2. A Fat Loss Workout – The next step is exercise. And the best approach to exercise is a combination of resistance (weight) training and cardiovascular exercise. The benefit of this approach is that you’ll burn more calories each day (with cardio) and over the long run (with weights). It’s not only about sweating – it’s also about increasing your lean muscle mass.
